Registration is now open for the Plant Biology Europe 2018 conference!


The PBE2018 conference takes place June 18th- 21st, 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark and is jointly organized by the European Plant Science Organisation (EPSO) and the Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology (FESPB) with the aim to create a European venue for the latest developments within plant biology research and technology.

EPSO will announce next week the two awardees of the EPSO Young Plant Scientist Award who will give a presentation at the conference, receive the YPSA certificate and 200€.

The conference is the biggest of its kind in Europe and the only one with a multidisciplinary approach to plant science in a global context. The plenary themes of PBE2018 are:

  • Phenotyping on different scale
  • Photosynthetic diversity/resource use efficiency
  • New Breeding Technologies
  • Seeds for the future
  • Niche crops
  • Plant Microbiome
  • Natural Products
  • Environmental resilience
  • Genome evolution
  • Science policy session focusing on ‘Open Science’
