Join the EUROBIOTECH congress 2017


Plant ETP would like to invite you to participate in the 6th Central European Congress of Life Sciences EUROBIOTECH 2017 which will be held in Krakow (Poland) on September 11-14th, 2017.

This event will cover the future of biotechnology seen through the perspective of CRISPR technology. Prof. Emmanuelle Charpentier will present the most recent achievements and through the structure of ribosomes (the best known bio-macro-molecule). Prof. Ada Yonath, 2009 Nobel Prize Laureate, will give the opening lecture. Prof. Robert Huber, 1988 Nobel Prize Laureate for the determination of the three-dimensional structure of a photosynthetic reaction centre, is also among the confirmed Eurobiotech speakers.

In particular, we encourage you to present the outcomes of their R&D activities in one of the sessions chaired by Aleksandra Małyska, Executive Manager of Plant ETP, titled “Green Biotechnology - Plants for the European Bioeconomy” to be held on September 12th.

This session will examine research and development both locally and internationally in the context of European Bioeconomy. A keynote speaker of this session, Marios Markakis, will give a talk on behalf of DG Research and Innovation, European Commission. Decline for abstract submission is June 16, 2017.
