AgriResearch Conference: Innovating for the future of farming and rural communities
AgriResearch Conference - Innovating for the future of farming and rural communities
2-3 May 2018 in Brussels (European Commission, Charlemagne building)
The EU AgriResearch Conference organized by the European Commission is dedicated to scientists, farmers, rural communities, industry, advisors, policy-makers, citizens and NGO representatives who wish to learn about EU agriculture and rural R&I activities and achievements and to have their say on how to shape the future of agriculture R&I after 2020. The conference will also be a great occasion to network with around 500 peers.
The conference will assemble around 500 participants from various horizons, with the aim to:
- take stock on the implementation of the strategic approach to EU agricultural research and innovation, published in July 2016 after the conference “Designing the path: a strategic approach to EU agricultural research and innovation” (26-28/01/2016);
- kick-start the discussion on agricultural and rural R&I under future EU policies.
You will find more information on the conference page, including a draft programme, the link to register and some ideas why you should attend.
Registration is opened until April 18 and may close sooner if the event is fully booked before that.
